Viginia Level 5 Gymnastics State Championships

Samantha recently competed at the Level 5 State Gymnastics Championships at Apollo Gymnastics in Woodbridge, Virginia. Luckily for us, it’s only about twenty minutes from the house! While the clip above is only about 4-1/2 minutes, the entire meet was about 4-1/2 hours.
Samantha finished 4th overall in her age class. She received a 9.1 on vault, 9.525 on bars, 9.225 on beam, and a 9.425 on the floor exercise for a total of 37.275.
We were fortunate that our neighbors from Virginia Beach got to visit. Ashleigh actually competed during the same time as Samantha but in a different age category.
