The first game of the season for the 80 pound Central team was against the Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) Wildcats at South Run Recreation Center. There was great effort from both teams and was a fun game to watch. Timothy got to kick-off twice with one squib kick recovered for the Colts. There were some good runs from both sides of the ball and a few fumbles. The Colts played a great first half by not letting the Wildcats have the ball until well into the second quarter. Because Timothy forgot his game jersey, he became an honorary Saldivar for this game.
