We took our annual vacation a little early this year in order to make it to Stephanie’s 30th High School Reunion. Rather than drive straight to central Florida, we stopped along the way for a night in Savannah Georgia. We then took a leisurely drive to Daytona Beach where we spent the next three relaxing nights. We were even able to get a tour in of the the Daytona International Speedway (separate post). We spent the final three nights in Orlando for the reunion. During this vacation we got to celebrate two birthdays, Stephanie’s 39th birthday in Daytona and Orlando, and Nicole’s birthday at the Kobe steakhouse.

Click on the picture of Samantha, Aunt Elsa, and Nicole to go to the album. The Leungs spent time with family, Elsa and Carol, as well as visiting the Cowboys new Texas, Stadium and the John F. Kennedy memorial. It looks like we will be getting another foot of snow in the DC area. The grocery stores have been a mad house as people are preparing to be snowed in this weekend. Fairfax County schools will be closed on Friday, and the kids will have to start making up school days, for example, they will have to return on President’s day.

Yes, we are late with our annual New Years card. So I’ll recount here what has been happening in the Leung household.
January – Fabulous Las Vegas! The Leungs, including Ama and Yeh Yeh and Monica went to Las Vegas for Samantha’s Lady Luck gym meet. Lot’s to do and very little time to do it.
February – Steph gone to Germany and Naples, Italy. Samantha to Virginia Beach for the Excalibur Gymnastics meet.
March – Steph to Africa, Chad
April – Steph in Tennessee, Sam State meet in Hampton
May – Nicole in Annie production. Steph in Africa.
June – Swim season! Monica departs 
July – Vic takes public option, now works for U.S. Govt. Anna-Lena arrives! 
August – Vacation in Florida!
September – Nothing!
October – Samantha Bat Mitzvah, Steph B’nai Mitzvah
November – Samantha meet in Fredericksburg
December – Steph to Africa
Samantha – Gym, Band, School, Bar/Bat Mitzvah seasons
Nicole – Dance Concert Performances, Swim Team
Timothy – Soccer, Swim Team
